GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

The PETATE website allows you to purchase products that will be delivered to you or your friends immediately after your request has been validated. The products are subject to inventory availability, so if a product is not available, the order will be canceled and the amount paid will be refunded. ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND VALIDATION

SHIPPING OF ORDERS

Orders are processed Monday through Friday. Delivery time is approximately 3 to 10 business days. It is important to consider that these days begin to be counted once confirmation of payment is received and if required to receive the requested documentation. Special note: We do not ship to PO boxes. Please note that we only ship to addresses within Mexico. In the case of a special personalized or furniture order, delivery time will be 10 to 15 business days.

Shipping of orders will have a cost based on the address where the buyer requests it. The cost of each shipment is quoted and accepted before making the payment, so at the time of making each payment, the client accepts said shipping cost.


SHIPPING CONDITION FOR ORDERS WITH CHARGES TO CREDIT CARD PROCESSED BY PHONE, EMAIL, CHAT, OR ANY OTHER MEANS OF SALES.

If your payment will be by credit card, the only two delivery options are:

PAYMENT METHODS

The PETATE website has different payment platforms:

  • Mercado Pago which meets the highest security standards. Through this platform we accept the following payment methods: Credit Cards, Debit Cards, electronic payments, payment in convenience stores, bank deposits and/or electronic transfers.
  • PAYPAL or Stripe in which we accept the following payment methods: Credit, Debit or American Express Cards.

CONDITION ON PURCHASES WITH CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS.

In the case of payment by CREDIT or DEBIT CARD, the following documents will be requested at the discretion of PETATE:

  • Copy of your Voter Identification Card on both sides

TAXES

All taxes are calculated and included in the published price and at the end of your application.

WARRANTY ON FINE JEWELRY PIECES

Against manufacturing, materials or workmanship defects, PETATE parts have a guarantee of 3 months from the date of delivery of the product, during which time, any repair that has to be made to the part(s) s) will be covered 100% by our company, at no cost to the client, including transportation costs within our service network.

This Guarantee is void if the PETATE part(s) has been repaired by a third party other than our Branch. When you take any part for warranty in our branches, you will be given proof of receipt. to guarantee with its corresponding folio number for better identification, which is registered in this guarantee policy and in our database.

The time it takes for the repair to be carried out will not be counted within its term. When the product has been repaired and delivered to the customer, the Guarantee period will begin again (3 months). The repair time for products that come under warranty can be up to 30 business days from the date of receipt of the product in our branch.

If the product cannot be repaired, it will be replaced with another new product with similar characteristics or the purchase money will be refunded.

To validate the guarantee, you must present the purchase receipt, online or digital proof of purchase or invoice along with the product or, failing that, by video call or photographs in an email and you can make it effective in the same branch where you purchased your product.

GUARANTEE ON THE SHIPPING OF PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH PETATE.MX

A. In the event that the product arrives broken, damaged or incorrect

The customer will have 48 hours to report the incident; after this time the guarantee will no longer be applicable.

To report that a product arrived broken, damaged or incorrect, the customer must send an email to the following address info@petate.mx including the order number and photographs that support the condition in which the product arrived. If the complaint proceeds, the physical exchange of the broken, damaged or incorrect part will be made for one that is in good condition or is the correct one in one of our branches. If we do not have a nearby branch, the customer will be provided with a return guide and once the broken, damaged or incorrect part arrives at our facilities, a part in good condition or, if applicable, the correct part will be sent to you.

Only in the event that we no longer have stock of the part to make the physical change will the return be made after delivery of the broken, damaged or incorrect part.

B. In the event that the package arrives open (shipping bag violated) and/or the product is not inside.

The customer will have 24 hours to report the incident; after this time the guarantee will no longer be applicable.

The investigation into the incident takes between 5 and 10 business days. If shipping insurance proceeds, a new shipment of the part(s) corresponding to the order will be made.


REPAIR SERVICE

Contract for the Provision of Repair Service for All Kinds of Jewelry and Decoration Pieces, entered into by PETATE on the one hand, in the name of its representative: Mariana Guadalupe Águila Alonso, as the case may be, who from now on will be referred to as “the provider.” ” and on the other hand “the client” in accordance with the following statements and clauses

REPAIR SERVICE CLAUSES

FIRST. - The repair of the good that is the subject of the contract will be carried out in the service provider's workshop, in accordance with article 60 of the Federal Consumer Protection Law.

SECOND. - When the client requests a repair estimate, the provider will let him know the cost of the repair before carrying it out and if he does not accept it, the repair estimate will be void.

THIRD. - In the event that the spare parts are imported and therefore their existence in the country is not certain, the provider will let the client know, within a period of no more than 15 days, their location, or the possibility of repair, must deliver the property being repaired, as well as the advance payments received within a period of 3 business days.

QUARTER. - The provider will be responsible for the repair of the service, under the terms of article 61 of the Federal Consumer Protection Law.

FIFTH. - In the event of theft or loss of the property to be repaired, the service provider will pay the value thereof, which is established in this contract. This amount must be paid within a period of 10 days from when the aforementioned event occurs.

SIXTH. - After 30 days of the date set to pick up the repaired good and the customer does not do so, it will cause storage at a rate of .01% of the minimum wage in force in this city and for each day that passes; After 90 days, a pledge will be constituted over the asset, in accordance with article 334 of the Law on Credit Transactions, and may be executed directly in accordance with the corresponding legal provisions.

Likewise, if the provider does not deliver the repaired property on the stipulated date, it will pay the client as a penalty, .01% of the minimum wage in force in this city, for each day that passes.

SEVENTH. - The provider guarantees for a period of 30 calendar days all repair work carried out from the delivery of the property being repaired to the client, in accordance with article 81 of the Federal Consumer Protection Law.

EIGHTH. - In case of loss of the contract or receipt issued to the client, the provider will agree to deliver the property that is the object of the repair, upon presentation of the document that proves its ownership and in case of non-existence, by means of a description of the property and identification of the person who entered into the contract. as a client against signature in the book kept by the provider on the premises for this purpose.

NINTH. - The Federal Consumer Prosecutor's Office is competent through administrative channels to resolve any controversy that may arise regarding the interpretation or compliance of this contract. Without prejudice to the foregoing, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico City, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply to them, due to their present or future domiciles or for any other reason.

CHANGES

As an additional service, our clients can change the piece of jewelry or decoration, if it was not to their liking; as long as the following requirements are met:

  • Jewelry exchange can only be made within 15 calendar days after purchase.

  • The change of decoration object can only be made within 7 calendar days after the purchase if it is made in the boutique. The exchange for the purchase of watches on the PETATE website can be made within 7 calendar days from the date of receipt of your order.

  • The piece of (Fine Jewelry or decoration) must be in perfect condition and not have been used or modified, otherwise the exchange will not proceed.

  • Deliver the case of parts.

  • Only one exchange can be made per purchase.

PROCEDURE TO MAKE A CHANGE

A. Physical store

The exchange can be made in any of our boutiques by presenting the original purchase receipt and complying with the guidelines for exchanges.

B. Online Store

The exchange for purchases made online or by telephone can be made in any of our boutiques by presenting the original purchase receipt.

If you do not have a PETATE branch close to your home, you must carry out the following procedure:

  • Contact info@petate.mx to report the situation.

  • The return guide has a cost of $250.00 MXN, once payment is confirmed, the guide number will be sent to you within a period of no more than 3 business days with which your piece will be collected.

  • Send us the fine jewelry or decorative object with the case of the pieces, guarantees, certificates or complete instructions.

  • In order to make the change, the piece must be in good condition and not have damage or mistreatment caused by regular use, as well as blows, crushing and accidents on the part of the client. If it is presented with these damages, the change will not proceed and the piece will be returned. . The decision made will be communicated to you within 3 business days from receipt of your piece.

    If the piece is damaged it will be returned.

  • If approved, we will contact you to tell us the part for which you want to make your exchange, this being of equal or higher price. If it is of a higher price, you must pay the difference and then continue with the normal shipping process.


EXCEPTIONS

Due to the nature of the products we handle, the change can only be valid once, as long as the client meets all the stated requirements. There will not be a second change. This charge is for reprocessing the piece, as we only sell new Jewelry and decoration products.

After 15 days after purchase, the exchange is no longer valid, so replacement of parts will not be made after this period.


CANCELLATIONS

As we process your request as quickly as possible, we will not be able to cancel orders placed and confirmed. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours and/or if you request additional documentation from the client and the client does not deliver it within the next 48 hours after the request, the order will be canceled.

EXCEPTIONS

We try to guarantee the existence of all the products placed in your shopping cart and especially those that are actually ordered. However, it may be possible that an item you have ordered is actually Out of Stock due to an exception in which case the subscriber will be informed of such a situation, proceeding to refund any amount paid for the product purchased if applicable, or will notify you of the impossibility of processing the purchase order.

RETURN POLICY

In purchases made through PETATE.MX, the customer may request the return of the piece within 5 calendar days after the date of receipt of their order and must meet the following requirements:

The customer may choose one of the following two options to return the piece, meeting the aforementioned requirements.

a) Through one of our physical stores: The customer must tell us which branch they would be going to and on what date to inform the same since the branch will only carry out the function of receiving the piece, once the branch tells us indicate that the piece is in excellent condition and under your protection we will make the return to the customer's account within the next 48 business hours.

b) Through a return guide: This option provides a return guide that has a cost of $300.00 MXN. (which the client must cover) to send us the part. Once the piece arrives at our facilities and we check that it is in excellent condition, the return will be made to the customer's account within the next 48 business hours.


BILLING

Users who purchase products, due to technical issues of the system, will have to send by mail their RFC and tax address after the purchase and during the month in which the purchase was made, so that they can subsequently receive their electronic invoice by email info@ petate.mx


PRODUCT POLICIES, PRICES AND PROMOTIONS

The prices of the products, services, promotions, availability and effective sale dates shown on our website are exclusive to PETATE.MX. The prices displayed are valid only for this sales site www.petate.mx and are in Mexican pesos or American dollars.
Prices and promotions may differ from those announced in PETATE's physical stores (Boutiques), and may also vary depending on the geographic region. Consult directly branch promotions in the Boutique of your choice.

PETATE offers its customers special offers with specific validity, PETATE reserves the right to make promotions with discounts or prizes or delivery of items or services when purchasing a specific item in the promotion.
